Deception Pass

This bridge is across a narrow deep and turbulent channel called Deception Pass, joining Whidbey and Fidalgo Islands. The steel cantilever bridge was opened on July 31, 1935. Some statistics - Height above water 180'. Length 1487 feet. 28 feet wide. On an average 20,000 vehicles use it everyday.
